Nima Rinji Sherpa, born on April 18, 2006, is a trailblazing Nepalese mountaineer who holds the records for being the youngest person to summit all 14 eight-thousanders at just 18 years, 5 months, and 21 days. Starting his high-altitude journey at age 16, Nima completed his first 8,000-meter peak, Mount Manaslu, right after his 10th-grade exams on September 30, 2022. Just 740 days later, he reached his final summit on October 9, 2024, scaling Shishapangma in China. Nima’s achievement broke the previous record held by Mingma David Sherpa, who completed the challenge at 30, making Nima an inspiration in the world of mountaineering.
